On Thursday 12 March 2026, graduate students Jadon Gonzalez and Alyssa Head represented the SDSU Biodiversity museum at the San Diego Festival of Science and Engineering. This event, held at Petco Park, attracted an estimated 17,800 members of the community. Jadon and Alyssa manned a table that highlighted several of our interesting museum specimens. Their enthusiasm for the study of biology and the importance of biological collections positively impacted visitors to the event.
